What makes it easier to clean?

Easy clean fabrics are treated with a microscopic protective coating around the fibers. This helps prevent stains from penetrating deeply into the fibers and becoming permanent.

Instead, stains remain closer to the surface, where they can be dissolved with water or a suitable cleaning solution. The dissolved stain can then be lifted from the fabric by repeatedly blotting or rubbing the area with a clean, dry cloth.

Difference vs water resistance?

Water resistance treatment forms a protective layer on the fabric’s surface, causing spills to bead up temporarily instead of soaking in immediately. This gives you more time to wipe them away before they penetrate the fabric.

Easy clean fabric works differently. Liquids may wet the fabric immediately, but the protective treatment around the fibers makes stains less likely to settle permanently and easier to dissolve and blot away.

Can all stains be cleaned with water?

Most water soluble stains, including coffee, wine, juice, milk and soft drinks, can usually be cleaned using water. Apply a small amount of water to dissolve the stain, then blot it repeatedly with a clean, dry cloth to draw the liquid out.
