How It All Began

The Journey Behind Cozylant

Taking the Leap

Cozylant began in Singapore in 2023, founded by three like-minded friends who had previously worked at major e-commerce platforms in Southeast Asia. Sharing a vision of creating a better furniture-buying experience through greater customisation, we took a leap of faith, left behind stable jobs and dedicated ourselves fully to building something better.

Learning at the Source

Starting with sofas, we embarked on a five-month journey across China and Malaysia in March 2023. We visited sofa factories, upstream foam and fabric suppliers, and furniture trade shows to understand the industry more deeply and find manufacturing partners who shared our values and could work closely with us to bring our ideas to life.

Improving Through Feedback

We launched our website in August 2023 with just five sofas and have kept improving ever since. Our range evolves with market needs, while products that fall short of our quality standards are removed. Rather than chasing variety, we focus on quality, reliable manufacturing partners, and iterating our products based on customer feedback.

We also invest considerable time in making furniture easier to buy through detailed guides and customisation options that can be selected directly online. As greater customisation brings more choices, we explain the benefits and trade-offs of each decision so you can compare your options clearly and make informed choices with fewer regrets.
