We use top grain leathers with both matte and glossy finishes for our leather sofas.

How do I choose which real leather to use for my sofa?

When choosing real leather, consider the following:

• Finish: Decide whether a matte or glossy finish best suits your home’s style. Matte leather offers a more relaxed, understated look, while glossy leather provides a sleek, modern edge, adding a touch of sophistication to your space.
• Grain pattern and colour: Select a grain pattern (fine or textured) that complements the aesthetic of your space. Choose a colour that aligns with your existing color scheme for a cohesive design.

Should I choose leather with fine grain or textured grain patterns?

The grain patterns on leather are created through different embossing techniques. When choosing, consider:

• Durability: Textured grains tend to hide wear and tear better, making them more durable over time.
• Touch: Fine-grained leather feels smoother, while textured leather can provide a more tactile experience.
• Style: Fine grains are often associated with sleek, contemporary looks, while textured grains give off a more rugged or vintage appearance.

How do I maintain leather sofas over time?

To keep your leather sofa looking its best, follow these tips:

• Prevention: Protect your sofa from direct sunlight to prevent fading, and avoid placing it near heat sources to keep the leather from drying out.
• Maintenance: Regularly dust and wipe your sofa with a soft, damp cloth. From time to time, use a leather conditioner to keep the material supple and to prevent cracking.

What is the difference between genuine leather, full grain leather, top grain leather, corrected leather, Nappa leather, pigmented leather, and aniline leather?

• Genuine Leather: Refers to any leather made from cowhide, typically lower grade than full grain or top grain.
• Full Grain Leather: The highest quality, it includes the entire grain layer, which is more durable and develops a natural patina over time.
• Top Grain Leather: Slightly less natural than full grain, top grain has the top layer sanded and treated, offering a more uniform appearance.
• Corrected Leather: A heavily treated leather that undergoes sanding and embossing to remove imperfections, often used for more uniform finishes.
• Nappa Leather: Known for its soft, supple texture, Nappa is usually made from top grain hides of lamb, sheep, or cow, and is often left minimally treated.
• Pigmented Leather: This leather is coated with a protective layer of pigment, which makes it more resistant to stains and fading.
• Aniline Leather: Treated with soluble dyes that penetrate the leather without covering the surface, aniline leather retains its natural texture but is more prone to wear.

How many people can your sofa sit?

Most of our sofas are modular in design, allowing you to craft a sofa that fits your space and seating needs.

We offer options for 2-person sofas, perfect for small spaces, or larger configurations that can comfortably seat over 5 people, ideal for family gatherings.

You can co-create your dream sofa with us to perfectly suit your home.

Is assembly required for your sofas?

Yes, our sofas require some assembly at customer's place.

This usually involves attaching the legs or connecting different sofa modules.

This set up helps facilitate transportation through narrow spaces like lifts or corridors.

What is included in the quoted price?

The quoted price is inclusive of service tax and delivery.

Only staircase fees and product disposal are charged separately.

Is there a lower price for reduced dimensions?

Not always.

For minor dimension reductions, labour and material costs are often fixed.

Can I choose colours outside of Cozylant's offered options?

Yes, please share with us your preferred colour and texture.

We'll source for similar upholstery to match your needs.

How long will it take to receive my order?

If the product is made to order, delivery takes 4-6 weeks.

For our default options, if the factory has ready stock, delivery may take under 4 weeks.

My place is under renovation, can you hold my order?

Yes, please let us know when your renovation will be completed. We can time the production and shipping to match that date.

In case of unexpected delays, we offer 1 month free storage in our local warehouse.

What is covered under warranty?

For all our sofas, lounge chairs, armchairs, and sofa beds, we provide the following warranty coverage:

• Frame, cushion, and springs: 5 year warranty
• Soft furnishings (e.g., fiber fillings, upholstery, stitching): 1 year warranty
• Other components (e.g., zips, fasteners, sofa legs): 1 year warranty

How do I raise issues for product defects?

If you encounter any product defects, you can raise the issue by contacting us through WhatsApp or email. Please provide the following details to help us process your request:

• Your order number
• A photo of the defective part
• A brief explanation of the issue

We will follow up with the next steps once we receive your message.

Can I modify my order?

Yes, you can modify your order as long as the product has not yet been shipped from the factory.

Depending on the stage of production, we will offer a quote for any modification costs.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you can cancel your order under the following conditions:

• Within the first 24 hours: A 3% order value cancellation fee to cover for transaction processing costs.
• After 24 hours and within 5 days: A 20% order value cancellation fee to cover for transaction processing cost and material procurement cost.
• After 5 days and before shipment: A 25% order value cancellation fee to cover for transaction processing cost, material procurement cost and production labour cost.
• Cancellation after shipment to local warehouse: A 30% order value cancellation fee to cover for transaction processing cost, material procurement cost, production labour cost and shipping fee.

If the product has already been created, no further cancellation is allowed. Any change of mind post that is treated as a refund case instead.

Can I ask for a refund?

Yes, you can request a refund within 30 days from the date of delivery even for change of mind.

Please note that a 40% order value restocking fee applies to cover logistics, warehousing, and applicable markdowns.

All our returned products are never marketed again as new products and are sold instead at open-box prices.

We seek your kind understanding as these costs reflect our actual expenses when a refund happens.
