Life happens around the sofa. Everyday use gradually leaves its mark overtime. Removable covers make it possible to wash and refresh your sofa as needed. Best paired with our washable fabric series for easier long-term care.
SEAT CUSHION CONFIGURATION
Medium firm firmness
The default seat cushions are made with a softer high resiliency foam top layer and a firmer high density 45kg/m³ foam support layer. Together, they create a balanced seating experience with a medium firm firmness.
When sitting on it, you experience gentle cushioning from the high resiliency foam top layer, followed by the support of the denser foam underneath. The result is a seat that provides enhanced support and encourages a more upright sitting posture.
SEAT CUSHION SUPPORT LAYER
High density foam that retains shape
Foam density measures the amount of material within the foam. We use high density 45kg/m³ foam for the support layer, compared to lower density alternatives below 30kg/m³.
This helps the cushion retain its shape and support for longer, reducing the likelihood of premature sagging from everyday use.
WOOD FRAME
Solid wood for key frame components
We use kiln-dried solid larch wood for the key structural components of our sofas. Its natural strength and stability help the sofa maintain its shape and support through years of everyday use.
Compared to engineered alternatives, solid wood retains its strength better under repeated loading, making it well suited for areas subjected to the highest daily stresses.
