Custom 2.4m Cuddle Half Leather Sofa with Cushions

The conversation began when the customer reached out to us while exploring his options between two models — the Cuddle and the Calm Half Leather sofas. He was looking for something that would fit his living room both in size and style, and he believed either a beige or white finish would suit the space well. To help with his decision, he asked if we had any photos of real samples in those colours.
We shared a selection of recent delivery photos to give him a better sense of how the sofas looked in real homes. After reviewing the pictures, he leaned towards the beige tone on the Cuddle Half leather sofa, which was done in our Lucas 805 leather. This is the default beige we use for that model, and it gave a warm, gentle feel that he thought would sit nicely in his living room.
As we continued our discussion, he asked if we had an option with a smoother grain. He liked the softness and clean texture of Nappa leather and hoped we had something similar. Based on this, we recommended exploring our Brady leather series, which has finer grains that closely resemble what he had in mind. We placed three Brady options side by side and shared them with him, but unfortunately none of the available colours felt quite right. In the end, he decided to go ahead with Lucas 805 despite its slightly more pebbled finish.
Along the way, he also requested additional leather cushions to be made in the same colour. We thought carefully about how to produce these in the most efficient way. Our team checked with the factory and proposed dimensions that would make full use of the cowhide sheet without needing to purchase an extra half sheet just for a couple of cushions. He appreciated the suggestion, and once we shared the cushion sizes with him, he gave his confirmation.
It was only after all these details were ironed out that he finalised his choice to proceed with the Cuddle model at 2.4m. We sent the order into production, and the sofa production was completed within two and a half weeks. Before arranging delivery, we shared final photos of the finished piece to make sure he was fully happy with the outcome.
When the sofa was delivered, his wife was home to receive it. She looked it over and was pleased with how everything had turned out. From the soft beige tone of the leather to the perfectly matched cushions, every detail felt just right. It was a lovely result to a thoughtful and smooth process, and we were happy to have played a part in bringing their vision to life.
