How We Helped Customise a Claudia Corner Sofa to Fit a Unique Home

When our customer reached out with a vision for his living space, he had a very specific sofa layout in mind: a Claudia Corner Sectional Sofa measuring 300cm in width and 200cm in depth. While exploring our product page, he noticed a configuration that came close to his desired setup but still needed a few refinements to fully align with his ideal.

He was particularly keen on having the extended end of the sectional finished with an armrest for a more balanced and comfortable look. To achieve this, we recommended a combination of two end units, one corner unit and one middle unit, an arrangement that met both his design preferences and spatial needs perfectly. Customising the sofa layout in this way is one of the many flexible options we offer to help customers achieve their dream living setup.

Next came fabric selection. The customer expressed a preference for something white and cooling. We recommended Toby 02, the default fabric we use for the Claudia Sofa Collection. With a 26% linen and 14% viscose content, it offers better breathability and a more refreshing feel than standard fabrics made with 100% polyester, an ideal choice for warm climates like Singapore.

In terms of comfort, the customer also wanted to adjust the seat height to approximately 45cm, slightly taller than our standard 43cm configuration. We proposed a simple yet effective solution by swapping our default 5cm carbon steel legs for 7cm solid wood legs. This modification gave him the added height without altering the overall look and feel of the sofa.

Once all specifications were confirmed, we proceeded to submit the order to our factory. The sofa was completed within two weeks after which we conducted a thorough quality check to ensure the final product matched every detail of the customer’s requirements. Only when he was fully satisfied did we move forward with arranging the shipment.

The finished Claudia Corner Sectional Sofa was delivered to his home in Singapore just two weeks later. With the custom layout, cooling white fabric and upgraded seat height, the piece came together exactly as envisioned, making it a perfect fit for his home in both style and comfort.
